We had an absolutely crazy season! Everyone was desperate for holidays, having fun, meeting new people and great times :) The School & Villa were pretty much booked out from Spring to Fall and we couldn't be happier about it. Expecting another great year in 2023, we decided to start early getting the team set!

HOUSEKEEPING (NEW OPENING)
We need someone to make sure our lovely Villa is shinning, tidy and ready to receive our guests in the best and most organized way.
Where: Surf Villa in Cascais, Portugal
Months: 1st September - 1st November 2023
Position: Full time job (8h/day - 5 days a week)
Schedule: 7h30 – 15h30 or 11h30 - 19h30
Main Tasks:
General house cleaning;
Making beds and setting rooms for new guests;
Organizing the house and making sure everything is tidy and clean;
Laundry control & maintenance;
Work together with the volunteers for extra help;
Guest Service: make sure the clients feel at home, have everything they need and are well oriented with our house facilities.
Basic qualifications:
No bachelor degree required but any Hospitality or Tourism course is a big plus.
Fluency (both written and spoken) in English and preferably other language (Portuguese, German or Spanish);
Profile:
Independency and autonomy;
Multitasking and problem solving;
Accuracy and attention to the detail;
Energetic & motived;
Love for outdoor sports & surfing.

SURF INSTRUCTOR
We are hiring fully motived and professional Surf Instructors to be part of our experienced team and give high quality surf lessons.
Where: Surf Villa in Cascais, Portugal
Months: March – December 2023
Position: Paid Job – no accommodation or meals included
Schedule: Flexible according to our surf lessons schedule (1 or 2 lessons a day – 4h or 8h).
Main Tasks:
Organize and give surf lessons to all kinds of students (level, age, nationality, etc.);
Use our teaching model and show the correct safety techniques;
Arrange and save all the surf material before and after the lessons.
Basic qualifications:
Portuguese Instructor Course (Cédula de Treinador Desportivo) is a big plus or ISA / ASI course required (up to date);
Valid EU drivers license required;
Previous experience in a similar job or general surf experience;
Fluency (spoken) in English and other language (German, French or Spanish) is a plus.

FRONT DESK (position filled)
We need someone to do daily reception tasks with front and back office work (Villa & Surf School) and general Surf Villa duties.
Where: Surf Villa in Cascais, Portugal
Months: February - December 2023
Position: Full-time paid job (8h/day - 5 days a week)
Schedule: 8h00 – 16h00 or 15h30 to 23h30
Main Tasks:
Villa/School Front & Back Office: emails, bookings, client service, check in/out, payments, etc.;
Help with general needs of the Surf Villa & School (house organization, housekeeping, arranging rooms, helping with dinners & events, etc.);
Assist the breakfast and any help needed with the volunteer duties;
Guest service: Assure the guests feel at home and have everything they need;
Make sure the accommodation is running smooth and there are no maintenance, cleaning or operational issues.
Basic qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Hotel Management, Tourism or Hospitality;
Fluency (both written and spoken) in English and preferably other language (Portuguese, German or Spanish);
International experience and worked in a tourism or surfing company is a plus.
Profile:
Entrepreneurial orientation and independency;
Good analytical and critical thinking skills;
Multitasking and problem solving;
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with focus on high-quality costumer service;

VOLUNTEER PROGRAM
Surf Cascais is looking for energetic and happy persons to help out in our basic daily duties in exchange for a culture and surf experience in Cascais.
Where: Surf Villa in Cascais, Portugal
Months: February - December 2023 (min. 4 weeks - max.10 weeks)
Position: Non paid volunteer work
Schedule: 5h shifts (Breakfast, Cleaning, Bar) - 5 days a week
Main tasks:
Breakfast shift and general cleaning;
Socializing with guests and helping them to get around the house and Cascais;
Helping with our weekly dinners (shopping, serving, cleaning, etc.);
General help in the house;
Picking up clients at the beach or in Cascais centre;
Basic qualifications:
No bachelor degree required but any Hospitality or Tourism course is a big plus.
Fluency (spoken) in English and preferably other language (German, French, Spanish or Portuguese);
Valid EU drivers license
